Glad hes still keeping it alive in his genre. Definitely one of the best at what he does. Glad him and Lupe can still story tell and bring beats all at once in every song. I haven't downloaded an album in a while cause everyone kinda lacked. First album downloaded in a while!! I heard some songs from my friend in his room. Honestly just a great album from start to bottom. Brought some Friday Night Light type feel to some tracks like Wet Dreams. For example Role Modelz spits some real lyrics but the beat is so dope you just get too hype. Combined his great storytelling ability with some amazing beats which hasn't been completely seen. Realest and most relatable rapper in the game at least to me. His ability to consistently release mass appeal music, while remaining the clear leader in thought provoking content is unmatched. Enough to show the people you don't need crazy beats to attact people's attention. This artist though has such great talent and superb lyrical uses. Nothing Is spoken from the heart or have meaningful messages. The new era of hip hop is always talking about the Same thing. And I still listen to each and every track to this day. Had it on repeat now for a couple of weeks! Can't recommend it enough! This album came out about a year ago. Great body of songs, the flow of the album is good and simply a great listen. However 2014 Forest Hills Drive is simply superb. I've always been a bit hit and miss with J Cole on previous his previous releases, ive liked certain tracks but could never listen start to finish. I love how you disseminate each song correspondingly one song after another in such a order that makes so much sense. You did what you had to do to get folks like me to hear you. True work of art Great come back cole! As a hip hop fan of my Era I must say I'm not disappointed at how you managed to get your buzz. Too many great things to say about what he does and bring to people.
